Job Description
What you'll do
We are looking for a People & Culture Trainee to join the team at SLS Barcelona. Under the guidance of the People & Culture team, you will support the team in the day-to-day People & Culture operations while gaining hands-on experience in different areas of the department.
* Support the People & Culture team with daily administrative tasks.
* Assist in the recruitment process by posting job vacancies, screening CVs and communicating with candidates.
* Support the onboarding process by preparing documentation and coordinating new starters' first day.
* Help collect and prepare employee documentation and ensure personnel files are complete and up to date.
* Assist in maintaining employee information in the HRIS (Factorial/Workplace).
* Help answer employees' basic HR-related queries or direct them to the appropriate person.
* Assist with the organization and allocation of employee lockers.
* Support the organization of employee engagement activities, internal events, and People & Culture initiatives.
* Help maintain an updated candidate database and talent pipeline.
* Provide general administrative support to the People & Culture department and assist with ongoing HR projects.
Qualifications
What we are looking for...
* You´re studying a bachelor´s/master´s degree in hospitality or a related field.
* You have the possibility to sign an agreement with your school for a period of preferably 6 months.
* Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in Spanish and English.
* You take ownership of important issues, solve problems, and make effective decisions.
* You learn quickly and adapt to SLS's unique culture.
* You are humble and open to ideas. We leave our ego at the door and help get things done.
* You're up for doing things differently and trying (almost) everything once.
