Internship - Development of an Automated Testing Ecosystem for XMS

Committed to its independence, Lombard Odier has been developing the majority of its banking IT platform in-house for many years. This infrastructure is also made available to other financial institutions.

Within the development department, part of the Technology and Operations unit, the Reconciliation IT team is responsible for delivering application solutions tailored to the bank's various business lines. The team focuses in particular on developing back-office applications dedicated to the confirmation of banking positions and transactions, and ensuring consistency with our banking counterparties.

To strengthen the team's capabilities, you will join an agile team of five people as a Java full-stack developer. You will contribute to the development of automated tests for our components, as well as to their ongoing maintenance and evolution in collaboration with the business and the product owner's requirements.

In this context, we are looking for a dynamic and ambitious developer with strong expertise in the Java/Spring ecosystem and automated testing frameworks.

YOUR ROLE
* Contribute to specify automatic testing based on our reconciliation package and on framework.
* Develop automation testing of regular day and specific use case, and give the possibility to increase testing scope
* Propose automatic pipeline testing integrated on our release management
* Document all tests implemented

YOUR PROFILE
* University degree or engineering school diploma
* Strong interest in JAVA development (JDK 8, 11, 17, 21) / Spring Boot, frontend framework (Angular)
* Strong interest in relational databases (MS SQL)
* Strong interest in Test Driven Development, Design Patterns, and Clean Code principles
* Professionalism, team spirit, creativity, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills
* Sense of responsibility and ability to work independently
* Fluency in French and English
* Residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate
