Intern - Data Science - Global IT (m/f/x)

At Hilti, our Data Science Interns turn complex data into meaningful insights that power our digital products and customer experience. In this role, you'll design experiments, build models, and work hands-on with large-scale data to shape real business decisions. Embedded in a highly skilled engineering community, you'll gain end to end exposure, from hypothesis testing to production-ready solutions, without the typical barriers of slow processes or limited impact.

This internship position has a flexible start date and runs for 6 months.

What You'll Bring
To help you succeed, we'll provide you with everything you need-coaching, a strong technical community, and end to end learning opportunities. Here's what you'll need to bring with you:

* Bachelor's or Master's studies in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or similar.
* Hands-on experience with Python and SQL; familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
* Basic knowledge of software engineering practices (architecture basics, version control, CI/CD).
* Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex analytics to non-experts.
* A strategic mindset and problem-solving approach, with curiosity and willingness to learn quickly.
