The Corporate & Investment Banking Division helps institutions and corporates optimize their investment, trading, financing and operating transactions. Global Institutional Business team is in charge of developing and building relationships with Banks, Asset Managers & Insurers established in the UK.

Join the BBVA Engineering team in the heart of London's financial district. This internship offers a unique vantage point into how technology operates within a global Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) environment. You will support daily coordination with development teams, manage IT supplier inventories, and play a key role in the risk admission process for local initiatives across the UK and Continental Europe.

What You Will Do

* Operational Support: Coordinate with development teams to implement control frameworks and manage IT supplier data.
* Risk Admission: Participate in ensuring that all local technical initiatives comply with corporate controls and regulatory standards.
* Analytical Problem Solving: Break down complex technical issues and propose logical, scalable solutions.
* Stakeholder Communication: Bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders in an international setting.

What We Are Looking For

* Education: A degree (completed or in final year) in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or Information Systems.
* Languages: Full professional proficiency (C1 level) in both English and Spanish is mandatory.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
* Mindset: Proactive, quick to learn, and eager to understand banking infrastructure and the impact of the regulatory landscape.
