Job Description:

Job Description

As an Agile Product Delivery Intern, you will shadow and work directly with one of our Scrum Masters (Delivery Managers) to help drive the development of our software.
* You will have the chance to learn about agile software delivery management, with real world implementation of SCRUM / KANBAN and SAFe.
* Your day may involve spread sheets, JIRA (planning) boards, presentations and emails.
* You will be involved in all aspects of the delivery life cycle, from running team estimation meetings, daily "standups", through to short term "sprint" planning and full release planning.
* You will be involved in risk assessment and quarterly planning presentations to the company leadership team.
* You will gain exposure to collaborating with diverse teams, including those located in different geographical regions. This will provide insights into the nuances of effective communication and collaboration in a multi-cultural global environment, understanding the benefits and challenges of working both in-person and remotely.
This is a very hands-on role that will see you deeply embedded within the team. We will give you real work and you will be expected to have responsibility for your own deliverables, but always with the support of your team. You will have a lot of support from our experienced Scrum Masters through direct mentoring and our community of practice, and once you are fully equipped with knowledge and understanding of the role, responsibility will be passed over to you

Candidate Requirements:

Qualifications

You will be currently studying for an undergraduate degree in software engineering, computer science, project management or similar.

* Possesses a mindset of continuous improvement, always seeking better ways to achieve goals and learn from experiences.
* Strong facilitation skills or a keen interest in developing them to effectively guide meetings, discussions, and workshops.
