Job Description:
In this role, you'll contribute to groundbreaking research in 6G optimization and network digital twins. Working alongside leading researchers, you'll help translate fundamental insights into innovations that advance Nokia's next-generation intelligent systems.

Location: Onsite, in Cambridge UK
You will work with our research team to conduct high-quality fundamental studies and translate discoveries into impactful Nokia applications.
Likely focus areas include:
* Integration of advanced antenna technologies with wireless resource algorithms.
* AI approaches for wireless beamforming and user scheduling.
* Network digital twins for predicting 6G network performance.
* System-level simulation of advanced wireless networks
Candidate Requirements:
EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Currently a candidate for a PhD, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
* Proficiency in wireless networking.
* Hands-on experience in a network simulation project.
* Strong coding skills with a focus on high-quality, maintainable code.
* Collaborative mindset and experience working in a large team environment.
Nice-To-Have:
* Familiarity with AI-based wireless optimization algorithms.
* Familiarity with 3D modeling and raytracing tools.
* Exposure to software development best practices and methodologies
