Provide technical support to the Bosch water electrolysis research team for electrolysis cell testing and characterization. The intern responsibility includes assembling test rigs, operating/monitoring electrolysis test benches, processing and interpretating testing results, and carrying out physical analysis. Additional responsibilities may include further development of testing methodology and/or further development of lab scale test capability

Required Qualifications
* Currently pursuing MS or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Sciences or related technical fields.
* Minimum GPA of 3.0
* Strong foundation on electrochemistry.
* Experience with electrochemical testing equipment.
* Familiar with data processing and interpretation.
* Be enthusiastic and able to collaborate in a team environment.
* Curious and passionate about learning and exploring.
* Ability to translate technical concepts into simple to understand, communicable ideas.
Preferred Qualifications
* Hands on experience with PEM water electrolysis or fuel cell testing hardware and equipment. This ideally includes subscale or short-stack testing.
* Experience with advanced characterization techniques, e.g., SEM, XRF, XRD, gas MS, etc.
* Experience with script coding, data analysis automation and interpretation.
* Publications to demonstrate past work in the hydrogen energy conversion field
