We are looking for Specialists and Team Members to join us in crafting a wide variety of vehicles from the Mercedes-Maybach GLS SUV to our all-electric electric vehicle, the EQS SUV and EQE SUV. Our Tuscaloosa County site is home to the production of Mercedes' luxury SUV models, including electric vehicles. Just down the road in Bibb County, MBUSI has launched the production of high-performance lithium-ion batteries. Essential Functions:
* Interfacing between MBUSI, R&D and suppliers to support the series carlines and ramp up production of upcoming carlines, while ensuring supplier readiness and parts maturity regarding the project milestones, change management, packaging, and problem analysis
* Support analysis of specific developmental E/E issues and establish long- & short-term countermeasures including cross-functional alignment
* Preparation of new carline, model year and facelift launches (check documentation and availability of software and hardware, align corrective actions with responsible person)
* Support E/E change management for software and wiring harness
* Participating and supporting the plant internal, cross-functional alignment meeting for EE topics
* Support the Quality Operations departments and "Service & Parts" by investigating malfunction and solving problems
* Documentation of project work in PowerPoint, Excel, Word
* Perform other duties as required

Qualifikationen

Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in order to qualify for position.

Education:
Student in: Electrical Engineering or in a related area, and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills:
* Fluent in English language
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Knowledge in vehicle electronics (network / buses CAN, LIN, Flexray, ethernet)
* Production experience
