Team Introduction The TikTok LIVE team's mission is to work hand-in-hand with LIVE creators, agencies, and partnership organizations to create an environment that brings communities together in real time to create meaningful and interactive connections around the globe. As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests. About the Role: We are seeking a LIVE Content Strategy Intern to join the TikTok US Live Operations team. In this role, you will act as our researcher, diving deep into live content consumption and deconstruction. Your goal is to provide the operations team with critical insights on "What goes viral and what drives monetization in the US market." Responsibilities: - Vertical Opportunity Analysis: continuously monitor content across various categories on the platform. Identify emerging verticals and niche communities that show strong growth potential in the US market. - Top Creator Attribution Analysis: Combine quantitative data with qualitative content analysis. Dissect high-traffic and high-revenue creators to understand the "why" behind their success-specifically analyzing their actions, scripts, persona, and engagement tactics that led to data spikes. - LIVE Session SOP & "Run of Show": Conduct granular breakdowns of full live sessions. Analyze the structure from start to finish, including ice-breaking techniques, retention hooks, interaction scripts, and the strategic timing/frequency of PK battles. - Strategy & Methodology: Synthesize observations into actionable Playbooks and best practices. Work alongside the Operations team to translate these findings into actionable creator training and campaigns

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications: - Digital Native: You are a heavy user of live streaming. You are familiar with the ecosystem, trends, and gameplay of TikTok LIVE, as well as other live streaming platforms - Cultural Expert: Possess a deep understanding of US local culture, internet memes, and consumer psychology. You get the jokes and you understand what makes US audiences tick. - Analytical Mindset: Ability to see the essence behind the phenomena. You are sensitive to content trends and capable of summarizing patterns from unstructured information. Preferred Qualifications: - Passion for TikTok, mobile entertainment, and digital culture. - Creative problem-solver with a strategic mindset. - Familiarity with live streaming platforms and trends.
