Department Overview

The IT Enterprise Architecture team defines and governs the organization's technology framework, ensuring that systems, platforms, and solutions align with strategic, security, and regulatory requirements.

Job Overview

Intern on the Enterprise Architecture team at Mercedes-Benz USA, will be working with the team on various facets of Enterprise Architecture like business, application data and technology. The EA team at Mercedes-Benz is responsible for supporting the Sales, Marketing and Financials. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about architecture and would like to pursue a career in Enterprise Architecture.

Responsibilities:
* Under the area of Enterprise Architecture, the primary focus will be to align business objectives with technology capabilities to achieve strategic goals. EA provides a holistic view of an organization's structure, processes, information systems, and technology infrastructure. The intern will take part in the following related architecture:
* Attend meetings and take detailed notes including 'meeting minutes' and communicate to stakeholders.
* Come up to speed with our Enterprise Asset Management Tool - LeanIX
* Generate reports for various stakeholders in LeanIX
* Ensure the application data is in good standing regarding Architecture and solution design and is ready for implementation
* Take active part in learning new technologies
* Help the department with day-to-day Enterprise Architecture and Information security activities.
* Support the activities of the team to conduct Architecture Reviews of projects.

Qualifikationen

Qualifications / Education:

To qualify for this internship opportunity, you must be a rising junior or rising senior enrolled in a Bachelor's program.

Preferred concentration of study:
* Computer Science
* Computer Engineering with an interest in Architecture
* Will also consider any other program in technology with an interest in Data/Application/Technology architecture

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* Comfortable with using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft CoPilot

* No previous IT experience is required for this internship

* Knowledge of IT Enterprise Architecture and major cloud platforms such as Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure

Additional Information

During this 8.5-week summer internship, you will be required to work onsite 4 days a week at our Sandy Springs, GA headquarters.
