Physical Distribution Specialist

Job Description

Join our team as a Physical Distribution Specialist and play a key role in driving operational excellence and efficiency across our logistics network. You will oversee and optimize logistics and administrative processes, manage external logistics providers (3PL), sales orders, and warehouse operations. You will represent the company with third-party logistics partners, ensure quality and continuous improvement, and collaborate with internal and external teams to guarantee operational efficiency.

Your role:
* Supervise the operation and management of external logistics providers (3PL), ensuring efficient processes and administrative compliance in the warehouse.
* Manage sales orders and coordinate the integration of new destinations into transportation plans.
* Represent the company with third-party logistics partners, with proven experience in maquilas and retail.
* Administer and optimize quality processes, process mapping, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Analyze and report on the performance of logistics providers, identifying opportunities for improvement.
* Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including handling discrepancies, rework, and inventory alignment between systems (SAP, WMS).
* Participate in decisions regarding outsourcing transportation and maintenance, within assigned budgets.
* Communicate shipment status and relevant topics effectively to internal and external teams.
* Ensure the quality and accuracy of operational and transactional data in logistics systems.

You're the right fit if:
* You have acquired a minimum of 2 years of experience in physical distribution. Including proven experience supervising 3PL operators, invoicing control, KPI monitoring (RACI Matrix, Action Plans, etc.), documentation and dispute resolution, Wall to Wall Inventory, daily stock comparison SAP vs. WMS and monthly stock cycles.
* Bachelor's degree in supply chain is preferable.
* Your skills include proficiency in SAP, WMS, Excel, and PowerBI is a plus, logistics systems management, transport planning, effective communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, proactivity, and respect.
* Intermediate English Level (B2)

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

This is an office role (2 days in Office, 1 day in the Warehouse and 2 days working from home)
