Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Engine Field Service Technician to join our team in the Aftermarket Service Department in Rumst, Belgium
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Deliver dependable on-site preventative maintenance that ensures Cummins-powered equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently across diverse customer environments, including data centers.
* Build strong, long-term customer relationships through professional, respectful, and solution-focused service interactions.
* Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues using approved tools, guided diagnostics, and standardized service procedures.
* Execute high-quality repairs by selecting correct parts, following technical guidelines, and confirming full resolution before job completion.
* Escalate complex or unresolved issues in a timely manner, enabling effective collaboration with senior technicians and supervisors.
* Maintain accurate, complete service documentation to support warranty processes, service history, and operational transparency.
* Champion a strong safety culture by consistently applying proactive Health, Safety, and Environmental practices in all work activities.
* Represent the organization professionally by maintaining a clean, well-equipped service vehicle and tools, ensuring readiness for every assignment.

Education/ Experience:
* Vocational diploma or equivalent training from a relevant technical institution.
* Apprentice-trained engine technician qualification (preferred).
* Basic mechanical and/or electrical knowledge and introductory experience working with engine products.
* Valid local driving permit and willingness to travel internationally for extended assignments as required

Candidate Requirements:

To be successful in this role you will need the following:
* Vocational diploma or equivalent technical training in a relevant mechanical or electrical discipline.
* Apprentice-trained engine technician qualification (preferred).
* Foundational mechanical and/or electrical knowledge with introductory hands-on experience working on engine-powered equipment.
* Proficiency in Dutch and working knowledge of English for documentation and reporting.
* Valid local driving permit and willingness to travel within Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and occasionally across Europe for extended periods
