Scrum Master As part of Its growth acceleration strategy, AXA Belgium wants to enable digital retail P&C prospects to buy their insurance online. Within the Customer & Distribution Department, you will be part of the Strategy & Sales flows optimization Team, aiming to develop digital sales for AXA Belgium. You will be working with a dedicated IT development team, reporting (GA/Power BI), Product Owners, UX & UI experts, as well as with numerous and various internal stakeholders (BAM, Switch, Data, Architecture, …). You will provide strategic recommendations by defining a clear and shared digital vision, by creating roadmaps, and by allocating the right resources and priorities. You will create strong links between business and IT to deliver features and US according to their business value, on time, on scope and on budget digital projects. Description Organize yearly delivery roadmap, aggregating our own features and US as well as external dependencies (projects & initiatives from other departments impacting us). Lead and facilitate the prioritisation and preparation of the backlog and ensure delivery of User Stories is OTOBOSOQ. Ensure transparent communication about it. Define and organize the way of working and the planning of development team including the planning and facilitation of all Scrum ceremonies Facilitate the work of the technical experts of the team and empower them Ensure knowledge and expertise sharing between retail and corporate development teams Take the lead in specific new projects and manage the integration and relationship with new and existing partners (e.g. Auto Scout 24, eKomi, Doccle, Datadome, …) Ensure specific end-2-end business projects within the scope of the team (definition of goals and scope, planning, resources organisation, monitoring, stakeholder management, communication, controlling & reporting) Improve the way of working of the development team by continuously looking for the new best practices, ensure knowledge transfer and project documentation. Guiding the team on self-organizing Removing impediments / Make sure the team doesn't get stuck and help to keep the focus on value delivery Ensure that users' needs are always prioritised, taking into account business priorities Assisting with internal and external communication (e.g. communication on sprint goals, overview of quarter's delivery to online sales steercos, etc.) Liaise with other teams for smooth delivery Communicate impediments to IT project manager & business manager Supporting the Product Owners, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog Profile Pragmatic and Hands-On Approach: Willingness to go beyond pure Scrum responsibilities and contribute directly to analysis, problem-solving, and team support. Technical and Business Acumen: Capable and eager to understand and assist with technical or business topics Flexibility and Adaptability: Able to handle tasks outside traditional Scrum roles to meet team needs. Balanced Scrum Knowledge and Practical Delivery: Experience in Scrum is important, but equally valuable is a track record of delivering tangible results and contributing directly to project outcomes. Ability to Build Trust and Engagement: Skills to foster genuine buy-in from team members through active involvement and support Proactive and Eager to Help: Willingness to assist with analysis, problem-solving, and taking initiative to support the team wherever needed. You have at least 2 years of working experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment and minimum 5 years of work experience in the Digital field and in project management. You are bilingual FR or NL/EN, and the knowledge of the other national language is a plus. You are able to adapt to different products and segments related field of expertise (e.g. : Corpo, Retail, Life, etc…) You have a structured mindset, allowing to structure the backlog, the current priorities, and coaching the team to work in this structured way You take ownership You can discuss and understand both on business side and on technical side, in order to have a common backlog with more business and more technical elements You have excellent communication, stakeholders management and mentoring skills; you value co-creation with the team and internal stakeholders. You have good analytical and reporting skills: you can analyse data and report; you can make adequate proposals based on those data Knowledge of techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: Burndown techniques, Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc) Knowledge of other Agile approaches is a plus (e.g. Kanban, … ) You have good organizational skills AXA aims to be a reflection of the diverse society in which we live and has therefore been pursuing a policy of active diversity, non-discrimination, and equal opportunities for many years.
