About the role:
We are looking for a Junior Project Coordinator to join the team of one of our trusted clients and support an exciting new project in the environmental field. This role is ideal for a motivated and energetic individual with an educational OR professional background in chemistry, physics, or other natural science, who is eager to grow professionally and develop project management skills. While your initial focus will be on a specific environmental project, you may later contribute to other initiatives across different areas.
Key responsibilities:
* Support project execution: Coordinate and monitor day-to-day project activities in line with the approved plan and timeline.
* Ensure progress and quality: Track milestones, identify potential delays, and help ensure that all stages are completed on time and according to standards.
* Facilitate communication: Maintain active contact with internal teams, external experts, and partners to support smooth project implementation.
* Assist with logistics: Organize business trips, meetings, and events related to the project and provide administrative and logistical support to the team.
* Monitor outcomes: Review deliverables, prepare progress updates, and maintain documentation to ensure consistency and transparency.
* Contribute to documentation and reporting: Keep project files, reports, and schedules up to date, assisting in the preparation of presentations or summaries for management and partners.
What we are looking for:
* Education: University degree in a scientific field such as chemistry, physics, biology, or environmental sciences. Technical education is also acceptable
* Languages: Bulgarian is a must and also excellent command of English (written and spoken).
* Digital skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); interest in learning to use digital and AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) is a plus.
* Organization: Strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
* Communication: Clear, open communicator who enjoys teamwork and collaboration.
* Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and managing change under pressure.
* Experience: No prior experience required - suitable for recent graduates or early-career professionals. Any internship or previous involvement in a project-based environment is a plus.
