As COGS Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) reporting across North America. Your role will focus on controlling and validating COGS elements across the annual, monthly and quarterly closes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and alignment with corporate reporting requirements.
You will provide accurate, timely, and insightful analysis of COGS to support management decision-making and profitability assessments. In addition, you will partner closely with in-market finance teams, global stakeholders, and extended cost teams to coordinate and ensure the correct accounting of COGS information. This collaboration will drive consistency in reporting, eliminate discrepancies, and strengthen financial governance.

The COGS Controller will also consolidate analytical requests related to COGS, monitor variances, and ensure that supplementary reporting (e.g., tariffs, repack fees, and other commercial costs) is properly reflected in the financial statements. Building strong cross-functional relationships will be key to fostering a "One Team" approach and supporting the company's accelerated close and standard cost processes.

Key responsibilities
* NA COGS Governance Leader
* Deliver COGS reporting accuracy and timely. Provide business commentaries to explain performance. Partner with E2E costing teams to drive right first-time standard setting.
* Provide the right partnership to your stakeholders adding value in all key activities perform.
* Ensure SOX controls are performed with the right quality that is expected. You will support the analyst and all SOX and audit testing and report key performance indicators to the leadership team.
* Support Controlling teams, Inventory and SMAS teams in COGS related analysis and support.
* Perform regular Month-end analysis: COGS, SKU level validations of COGS, variance analysis vs Plan and Forecast.
* Perform insight and consolidation for Price Volume analysis
* Conduct thorough review and analysis of cost of goods sold profitability review, ensuring accurate interpretation and clear communication of their impact.
* Lead and oversee the Transfer Pricing process for North America, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with corporate financial strategies
* Support activities related to Annual Standard Setting (FLIP)
* Able to simplify processes/activities to increase efficiency and focus the team in more add value activities.
* Completing ad-hoc reporting requests from in-market finance teams or the FD.

Qualifications and skills
Essential
* Bachelor's degree in business administration or finance.
* 10+ years of financial and supply chain accounting reporting and audit experience
