Are you a tech-savvy engineering graduate with a passion for cars, hands-on testing, and international travel? We are looking for an Application Engineer to join our team in our R&D Center in Prague and take charge of final vehicle tuning and calibration on real test tracks across Europe!
Whether you're connecting to control units in the lab or putting a vehicle through its paces on a test track in Germany or Spain, this role offers the perfect balance of technical office preparation, real-world execution, and international exposure.
We will fully train you for the role - all you need is a strong technical background and a genuine willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Hands-on Vehicle Calibration: Fine-tune, calibrate, and perform initial testing on vehicles based on requirements from System Engineers.
* Track Testing: Travel to test tracks (primarily in Germany, Spain, and locally in the Czech Republic) to test cars in real conditions. You'll often work independently, but sometimes as part of a larger team.
* Client Interaction: Work directly with customers present on-site at the test track to ensure the vehicle's performance meets their expectations.
* Handover & Reporting: Prepare the calibrated vehicles for the main testing team and write post-test reports upon returning to the office.
* Office & Remote Work: Prepare technical solutions and setup in the office/home office before heading out to the track.
LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU...
* Education & Background: Technical background (Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or Mechatronics Engineering). Recent graduates are welcome!
* Technical & Practical Skills: High technical aptitude, problem-solving mindset, and the hands-on ability to connect to control units/ECUs. Basic programming skills are a strong plus.
* Eagerness to Learn: A strong motivation to pick up new technologies, methods, and systems quickly.
* Communication & Mobility: Good English skills (for international clients and teams) and a valid Driving License (Cat. B).
* Willingness to Travel: Excited about frequent travel to European automotive testing hubs (Germany, Spain - e.g.).
* Problem Solving & Quality: Apply standard problem-solving methodologies (such as QRQC) to analyze issues on and off the track.
* Collaboration: Communicate effectively with System Engineers, local testing teams, and external stakeholders.
