Job Description:

As part of Vienna Insurance Group, the leading insurance group in Central and Eastern Europe, we are strengthening our presence in the Nordic markets. To support this strategic development, we are expanding our Industrial Corporate underwriting activities in the region of Copenhagen, Oslo or Stockholm.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the development within a financially strong and well-established international group. You will work closely with local and international colleagues in an environment characterized by trust, responsibility and clear structures, while supporting sustainable portfolio growth in the Nordics.

* Support the underwriting of Construction All Risks (CAR), Erection All Risks (EAR) and Power projects, including international exposures
* Analyse technical risk information, project documentation and contractual frameworks to support underwriting decisions
* Assist in pricing, capacity allocation and development of coverage structures under guidance of senior colleagues
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. Risk Engineering, Claims, Reinsurance) to build a holistic understanding of project risks
* Support renewal management, portfolio monitoring and data-driven analysis of underwriting performance
* Maintain underwriting documentation and contribute to professional broker and client interactions

VIG Nordics Region

Your Profile

* Degree in Engineering, Insurance, Economics or a related field
* First experience in engineering or construction insurance, technical risk analysis or a related area (e.g. internships) is an advantage
* Basic technical understanding of construction, infrastructure or energy projects, with a willingness to further develop expertise
* Analytical mindset with a structured, detail-oriented and reliable working style
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
* Fluent English; Nordic language skills are an advantage
