In Finland, we are driving the rapid growth of smoke-free oral products, working at the intersection of portfolio strategy, category development and executional excellence in a highly regulated environment.
We are now looking for a Junior Brand Manager to strengthen our Smoke-Free Oral team.

Role summary

As Junior Brand Manager - Smoke-Free Oral Portfolio, you will play significant part of the development, rollout, and success of our smoke-free oral brands in Finland and Iceland. You will be working with several brands within the portfolio and working closely with internal team members and external partners to spearhead initiatives from planning through implementation.
The role is accountable for portfolio management for named brands and projects, orchestrating brand communication toolkits, and securing operational excellence. You will contribute to build brand propositions, create commercial toolkits, and lead projects with agencies and partners indepenently. Your efforts ensure seamless launch and brand initiative execution across channels while adhering to local regulations and company standards.
This position is located in Helsinki and involves close cooperation with Commercial, Sales, Insights, Regulatory, and Supply groups.

Your key responsibilities

Portfolio & Brand Management
* Contribute to the management of the smoke-free brand portfolios across several brands and markets, including SKUs, propositions, positioning, and lifecycle management.
* Accountable of the development of annual and ongoing brand and portfolio plans for named areas, aligned with category and commercial priorities.
* Manage and drive product launches, renovations, and delistings, ensuring readiness across all collaborators.
* Drive assigned projects end-to-end, including briefing and steering external agencies and ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to quality.
Toolboxes & Execution
* Translate global and regional brand guidelines into local brand communication plans aligned with Finland's regulatory framework
* Create and sustain brand and portfolio toolboxes (e.g., brand assets, commercial guidelines, claims, visual standards) tailored to the Finnish market.
* Accountable for creation of clear, fit-for-purpose toolboxes, with easy deployment by the local market.
* Act as a local brand guardian, ensuring consistent execution aligned with company brand guidelines and local market context.
Market & Performance Analysis
* Conduct market, category, and consumer analysis to identify business opportunities and performance gaps.
* Monitor and analyze brand, portfolio, and initiative performance and market trends; consolidate insights and translate data into clear recommendations and identify growth opportunities and risks.
* Support forecasting, volume planning, and post-launch evaluations.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Compliance
* Collaborate closely with Sales, Deployment, Commercial Planning, Insights, Regulatory, and Legal to ensure smooth implementation.
* Ensure all activities fully align with Finnish & Icelandic regulation, PMI Marketing Code, and internal governance.
* Managing assigned initiatives throughout the phases from planning to implementation.
* Create and manage related processes for continuous improvement

Who you are

* 2-4+ years of experience in Marketing, Brand Management, Category Management, or similar Commercial roles, preferably in FMCG or regulated industries.
* University degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field.
* Strong analytical and structured mindset - comfortable working with data, portfolios, and details.
* Strong business acumen and ability translate insights into action
* Experience in managing agencies and overseeing creative processes independently
* Hands-on, self-driven, and well-organized, with strong project management skills.
* Comfortable operating independently across functions and international functions
* Ability to simplify complex topics and translating strategy into practical toolkits.
* Strong presentation and communication skills, able to clearly articulate recommendations to internal collaborators and agency partners
* Proficient in English, knowledge of Finnish is an advantage.
* Experience from legally restricted categories is advantageous.
