It provides guidance and support to subsidiaries around the world, to ensure the coordination and monitoring of the Group's global strategy, the application of its standards, the consistency of commercial approaches and the sharing of best practices. Within the Group, you will join Group Investment & Asset-Liability Management ("GIA") department. GIA role is to consolidate local investment decisions, leverage on financial expertise through the Group and steer investment ideas. The team works in close collaboration with AXA's worldwide investment teams and top-tier investment managers including AXA IM to deploy capital across various asset classes. Overseeing over EUR600bn of Assets Under Management ("AuM"), GIA is organized into four teams (c.50 professionals) under the leadership of the Group Chief Investment Officer ("Group CIO"). Within this Department, you will be part of the Group ALM and Investment Monitoring team, which mission is to (i) lead ALM studies to optimize return on capital across portfolios including Long Term Economic Assumptions used by the different local ALM teams, and the central production of the real-world economic scenarios, (ii) steer Group and local entities balance sheets positioning notably on interest rates and capital management related to investments, (iii) plan and monitor investments across the Group, (iv) steer and monitor investment income across entities and coordination with central controlling teams, To achieve such mission, Group ALM and Investment Monitoring team is liaising with local investment teams, leading two centers of expertise (ALM, Monitoring), and two steering committees (Interest rates, ALM studies), ensuring disciplined portfolio management, strong coordination, and clear reporting, to support Group financial performance, and being accountable to Group CIO and Group Investment Committee. YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES: As "Junior ALM & investment analyst" you will on one hand: Produce of real-world scenarios for the purpose of ALM analyses. This includes the calibration of the models and generation of scenarios for all AXA entities, using the ESG software from Barrie&Hibbert/Moody's Analytics, through various asset classes and time horizons. Improve the processes/control for the scenario production and maintain documentation Present and complete of the ALM Long Term Economic Assumption to the ALM community And on the other hand: Help and support senior investment monitoring analyst who has a key role of follow transactions of the entities across the world by asset class & strategy to build a realized investment view at AXA group level Ensure quality delivery of operating units and adequate level of control, analysis and reconciliation, YOUR PROFILE Background Financial or actuarial background and strong IT skills (master 2 in quantitative finance, actuarial diploma, potentially combined with an IT oriented cursus in an engineering school) Technical skills Knowledge in, and agility with, finance/investments, and ALM concepts Good knowledge of, and strong appetite for, IT tools and of programming languages is required (R, Python, VBA, SQL…) Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Power point,…) Knowledge of Bloomberg terminal would be a plus Soft skills: Team spirit and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across Group, entities and asset manager. Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written) and understanding of how to distil down complex information. Strong organizational skills and an ability to work to tight deadlines. Fluency in written and spoken English (working language).
