Purpose of the Position:
The Warehouse Excellence Manager will spearhead initiatives in contract management, standardize and oversee Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and develop strategic warehousing solutions on a global scale. This role is vital for leveraging global insights to enhance warehouse operations and drive operational excellence.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive warehousing strategies that align with company objectives and reflect the latest supply chain trends. Continually enhance warehouse processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and stay informed on how evolving supply chain trends impact warehousing.

2. Global Efficiency Program:
- Facilitate the logistics efficiency program focused on optimizing global warehousing activities using lean principles and continuous improvement approaches. Create and enforce Warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that set guidelines and processes to improve service levels and achieve cost efficiency.

3. Sourcing/Contract Management:
- Jointly establish procurement standards and manage all aspects of contract negotiations and partnerships with third-party logistics providers, ensuring alignment with corporate standards for optimal operational efficiency. Monitor market trends to develop risk mitigation strategies.

4. Implementation of Global Digital Solutions:
- Lead the strategic design and rollout of a 3-5 year digital warehousing roadmap in alignment with broader supply chain technology strategies. This includes adopting advanced Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and automation technologies to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.

5. KPI Definition and Monitoring:
- Develop and manage relevant KPIs tailored to different geographies and regulatory frameworks. Conduct both internal and external benchmarking to ensure efficacy and compliance, adjusting strategies as needed to continuously improve warehouse operations.

6. Global Perspective and Governance:
- Maintain an overarching view of global warehouse operations, considering market trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies. Implement governance processes to engage market and sector leaders in key decisions and projects, ensuring alignment with global business strategies.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree required in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in warehouse management or logistics, preferably in the FMCG or alcoholic beverages industry.
- Skills: Proficiency in technological tools like PowerBI and Microsoft Office. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is strongly preferred. Must have excellent analytical skills, strategic planning capabilities, and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Languages: Must be proficient in English. Additional language skills are advantageous.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills are necessary, with the ability to manage and motivate teams, cultivate innovation, and be resourceful under pressure.
