Job Description:

Do you want to help create the future of healthcare? Our name, Siemens Healthineers, was selected to honor our people who dedicate their energy and passion to this cause. It reflects their pioneering spirit combined with our long history of engineering in the ever-evolving healthcare industry.
We offer you a flexible and dynamic environment with opportunities to go beyond your comfort zone in order to grow personally and professionally. Sounds interesting?

Then come and join our global team as UHF MRI Local Coil Engineer - Development & Partnerships (f/m/d) to develop innovative RF local coil technologies for the most advanced MRI systems worldwide, and play a key role in shaping cutting-edge 7T+ platforms-from initial concept through to series production.

Choose the best place for your work - Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

* You are responsible for the design and optimization of RF local coils (Tx/Rx) for ultra-high-field MRI systems (7 Tesla and above), contributing to advanced medical imaging solutions.
* You coordinate internal and external partners to evaluate new coil architectures and drive their transition into series production.
* You perform electromagnetic simulations (e.g., SAR, B1 field distribution, coupling) and autonomously validate the results experimentally to ensure performance and compliance with safety requirements.
* You contribute your expertise to the integration of local coils into UHF MRI systems, working closely with system engineering to ensure seamless interaction with the RF chain, gradients, and magnet.
* You ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety requirements (e.g., IEC, ISO 13485)
