Regulatory Toxicologist (all genders)

Are you passionate about applying toxicological science to protect patients and support regulatory compliance? As a Regulatory Toxicologist (m/f/d) at Bayer, you will provide expert guidance on nonclinical safety topics across our global portfolio of marketed products. From evaluating impurities and defining exposure limits to developing testing strategies and supporting regulatory interactions, you will contribute to ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety and scientific excellence worldwide. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* You take global responsibility for all nonclinical safety issues affecting the quality of our portfolio of marketed products, including the assessment of impurities and extractables/leachables, thereby contributing to patient safety worldwide

* You derive health-based exposure limits such as PDEs for cleaning validation and occupational safety limits, while supporting production teams on segregation concepts and worker safety requirements

* A key part of your role is ensuring Bayer's compliance across the portfolio by providing toxicological expertise for manufacturing, occupational safety and quality-related topics

* You develop integrated testing strategies to characterize the safety profile of substances in accordance with various regulatory requirements, including Medical Device Regulation

* Scientific oversight of toxicological in vitro and in vivo studies conducted at external CROs and evaluation the resulting data is a core aspect of your role

* Your expertise supports interactions with health authorities and contributes to successful regulatory processes across different regions.

* You provide scientific peer review and ensure a high level of scientific quality, rigor and regulatory compliance across projects.

WHO YOU ARE

* You hold a university degree in medicine, veterinary medicine, pharmacy, chemistry or another natural science discipline, preferably complemented by a PhD, MD or equivalent qualification.

* You bring more than five years of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience, including several years in toxicology related to marketed products and occupational toxicology.

* Developing integrated strategies for substance characterization and supporting regulatory compliance across different regulatory frameworks is within your skillset

* You have proven experience collaborating with external partners and cross-functional stakeholders, combined with strong organizational skills.

* Analysis of complex, high-volume and sometimes contradictory information while maintaining a customer-focused and solution-oriented approach comes easily to you

* Strong project management capabilities, problem-solving skills and the ability to build effective networks define the way you work in dynamic environments.

* You are skilled at structuring and steering complex processes while aligning multiple stakeholders across different organizational levels.

* Fluency in English (written and spoken) and present scientific topics clearly and effectively
