Are you passionate about technology and eager to apply AI to solve real-world engineering challenges?
Join Infineon Technologies in Duisburg and support our Product and Test Engineering team in developing data-driven solutions for automotive radar systems.

Key responsibilities in your new role

* Shape the future: Develop new tools or enhance and adapt existing ones by integrating AI/ML capabilities to improve data evaluation, workflow automation, and efficiency.
* Take responsibility: Take an active role in introducing AI-driven solutions into existing tools and workflows, while exploring and applying AI/ML methods to identify optimization potential
* Keep the overview: Document technical solutions and workflows to ensure transparency, scalability, and maintainability
* Teamwork is dreamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance end-to-end engineering processesWhat you'll gain:

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

* Study field: Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
* Programming: Experience in Python (required); experience with PowerShell or similar languages is a plus
* Knowledge: A solid understanding of AI/ML concepts and basic knowledge of data processing is a plus
* Experience: GitHub Copilot and VS Code is a plus; familiarity with version control systems, e.g., Git, and collaborative development is a plus
* Working Style: Self-motivated with a structured and proactive approach and able to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team
* Interests: A strong interest in applying AI, data analytics, and automation in real-world engineering environments
* Language Skills: Fluent in English. German is a plusPlease attach the following documents to your application:

* Working part-time: The focus is on studies. That's why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
* Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree program. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.
* You should live close to the site: For good collaboration, it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to the team.
