About this role
Lieferando is expanding its delivery services, offering customers not only food from their favourite restaurants but also everyday groceries from local supermarkets and convenience stores. With rapid growth in grocery delivery, this is a key opportunity for Lieferando to disrupt the market and win customers, partners and loyalty to put us ahead of our competitors.
This role will lead marketing for some of Germany's top national restaurant chains & grocery partners, creating joint marketing plans to drive awareness and orders. You'll work on our biggest ambitions across multiple campaigns, collaborating with internal teams and external agencies managing projects end-to-end.
We're looking for someone who can live our behaviours of lead, deliver and care, bring fresh ideas, challenge the status quo, and push for bold, creative solutions to drive Lieferando's vision forward.
These are some of the key components to the position:
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and further develop the Strategic Partners Marketing Team (6 FTEs), driving multi-vertical partner activation, expansion, and commercial growth while ensuring efficient allocation of resources across key strategic initiatives.
* Own and execute the annual and seasonal partner growth roadmap, aligning cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, including Head of Marketing, Head of Sales, Account Leads, and Country GM around a unified vision, business objectives, and go-to-market priorities.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with national chain, grocery, convenience, and strategic brand partners by developing a deep understanding of their business objectives & needs, translating them into joint growth opportunities.
* Define and lead integrated marketing and business development strategies for key strategic partners, including REWE, McDonald's, and Coca-Cola, establishing joint business plans that align partner objectives with company growth targets.
* Collaborate across marketing, commercial, product, and channel teams to develop and execute 360° annual partner plans spanning ATL campaigns, promotions, CRM, digital activations, and targeted communications, leveraging data, technology, and creativity to maximize impact.
* Drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and order growth through high-impact partner collaborations, ensuring delivery against commercial, brand, and trading KPIs while fostering accountability across stakeholders.
* Lead end-to-end creative concept development and campaign execution, from strategic briefing through production and deployment, managing internal teams, media and creative agencies, and the creation of partner and brand assets across digital and offline channels.
* Coordinate with media agencies, channel specialists, and product teams to design activation plans that achieve business objectives, create lasting customer impact, and leverage opportunities across app, website, and emerging platforms.
* Develop campaign overview documents, strategic presentations, and stakeholder communications to ensure alignment, transparency, and effective execution across all partner marketing initiatives.
* Monitor market developments, platform opportunities, and partner performance to identify new growth levers and accelerate marketing effectiveness.
* Own campaign reporting, KPI tracking, sell-in forecasting, budget management, and performance analysis, using data-driven insights to optimize partner efficiency, inform future strategies, and maximize return on investment.
What will you bring to the team?
* Experience in Marketplace Businesses, retail, FMCG, and Tech Companies
* Proven experience in leading a multi-FTE Team including Junior-, Manager- & Senior Marketing Manager levels.
* Proven experience in activating and supervising successful, insight-led marketing campaigns with clear goals, using tech, data and creativity to drive excellence.
* Broad knowledge of the full marketing mix, including TV, OOH, PR, social media, PPC, CRM, and in-app/web promotions.
* Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with both internal marketing teams and external account stakeholders based around respect and mutual support for success.
* Expertise in creating multi-channel campaigns and building creative brand platforms with quality and impact across TTL (Through The Line) marketing.
* Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to plan, organise, and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously while remaining committed to achieving your goals
* Results-driven, with the ability to execute quickly and efficiently to maximise impact while getting into the details when necessary.
* Strong multitasking skills, able to manage multiple priorities, stay committed to achieving goals, and work with various stakeholders across different levels.
* Experience in high-growth, entrepreneurial environments, ideally within P2P, e-commerce, marketplace, or aggregator businesses.
* Self-starter attitude, comfortable with change, and thriving in fast-paced environments - build rapidly, test briefly, and roll out successes quickly
* Positive, proactive attitude with a strong work ethic, celebrate team wins, own your results, be happy to give and receive feedback.
