The Position
Salesforce Lightning Developer
Job Summary
As part of a global IT Harmonization initiative, Imerys Group implemented a global CRM solution using SalesForce.com platform for all its commercial processes and regrouping as of now approx. 2000 users.
The Salesforce Lightning Developer is responsible for designing and delivering scalable solutions in Salesforce Lightning Experience, primarily through declarative configuration and automation, while supporting enhancements, bug fixing, testing, documentation, and deployment activities across environments. The role works closely with Product Owners, administrators, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into efficient, maintainable solutions aligned with Imerys standards and strategic objectives.

Your Responsibilities:
* Design and implement scalable business logic using Salesforce automation tools, ensuring all solutions are optimized for performance and governor limits.
* Participate in technical design sessions and contribute to solution discussions and ensure alignment with client business objectives and Imerys' strategic goals.
* Provide expert-level technical assistance, troubleshooting, and support for bug fixes, enhancements, and user issues related to the Salesforce platform
* Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance application design, development practices, and overall platform performance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing hands-on expertise and guidance on technical implementation and best practices.
* Design and deploy CRM Analytics solutions, including the creation and management of custom datasets to support data-driven business insights.
* Manage the CRM integration roadmap, balancing resources, timelines, and technical requirements to align with long-term strategic objectives.
Qualifications:
Essential
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum 3-5 years of daily hands-on SalesForce configuration/development experience
* Experience with CRM Analytics: datasets, recipes/dataflows, dashboards.
* Fluent or native English speaker
Desirable
* Experience of working on Agile project
* Experience of working within a culturally diverse global company
* Apex knowledge preferable
Knowledge, skills, abilities and other characteristics
* Certifications in Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud or Lightning or Platform Developer I are a plus.
* Solid knowledge of data management, including dataset creation and maintenance.
* Preferred (Not Mandatory)Basic Apex knowledge: ability to read and understand existing Apex/Triggers, collaborate with developers when code is required, and support troubleshooting.
* Good knowledge of Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
* Experience with Salesforce integration tools (e.g., REST, SOAP APIs).
* Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business requirements.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
* Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
