Apple's Cloud Platforms Engineering team is seeking a talented and motivated Cloud Platform Engineer to join our innovative and high-energy Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team. This is a highly technical and hands-on role ideal for someone passionate about building, deploying, and supporting business-critical cloud applications across SAP BTP, AWS, and GCP. You will work alongside a dynamic group of engineers dedicated to advancing cloud capabilities and delivering scalable, secure, and highly available solutions. We are seeking a SAP Cloud Platform Observability Engineer to contribute to the reliability, performance, and transparency of our SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) environment. In this position, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining observability solutions across applications and services deployed on BTP, thereby facilitating proactive monitoring, intelligent alerting, and comprehensive system behavior visibility.
Strong understanding of full-stack application design on cloud platforms. Exposure to cloud environments such as SAP BTP, AWS, or GCP. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolsets including GitHub, Jenkins, and Terraform (or equivalents). Experience in at least one of the following programming languages: JavaScript, Node.js, or Python.
Solid grasp of cloud security concepts, especially in authentication and authorization.
