About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to join our Flavour Production team in Naas. This is a hands-on role where you will support the creation and preparation of flavourings while working closely with flavourists and cross-functional teams.
You will gain exposure to a wide variety of flavour formats and play a key role in delivering high-quality, consistent products, while also developing your technical and sensory expertise.
Key responsibilities
* Prepare a variety of flavour formats including:
* Liquid blend topnotes
* Powder flavourings (dry blends & spray dry)
* Thermal process flavourings
* Liquid extracts
* Ensure precision in measurements and strict adherence to formulations and recipes
* Support the flavourist team in preparing and participating in tastings of finished flavourings and raw materials
* Develop the ability to taste, evaluate, and accurately describe flavour attributes
* Maintain a high standard of laboratory organisation, workflow efficiency, and hygiene
* Collaborate effectively with internal teams to support flavour development and application
* Contribute to a proactive, collaborative team environment while supporting day-to-day laboratory operations
* Build relationships with other regional sites, with Naas supported by Runcorn, Mozzo, and Grasse, ensuring strong networks are established to enable access to materials and support operational efficiency.
