This role is responsible for overseeing the quality of raw materials from suppliers, managing supplier quality risks, and ensuring the qualification and ongoing performance of the supplier base. The engineer will lead supplier audits, pre-series material validation, and manage critical supplier issues.
Strong knowledge of raw material specifications and quality control methods. Experience in supplier quality management, including auditing and qualification. Proficiency in risk management techniques for supplier quality. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead problem-solving activities with suppliers. Understanding of relevant quality standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, industry-specific standards)
