Job description

Barilla G. & R. Fratelli wants to recruit a Plant Engineer for Novara Plant. The individual will report to the Technical Area Manager.

Main Responsibilities

* Manage and implement all the investment of the plant's responsibility and collaborate on the achievement of the objectives for the projects in charge of the Technical Development.

* Define, in support of the Technical Area Manager, the Investment Forecast (CAPEX), evaluating the sustainability in terms of approvals and cash out of the proposed projects.

* Manage and update the technical diagrams and drawings of the new equipment and the upgrading of the existing ones.

* Define preventive and predictive maintenance policies in collaboration with other business functions.

* Define the types and quantity of spare parts to keep in stock, for the first supply, relating to new equipment.

* Define, with the Production Manager, PPWM and Maintenance Manager, the lines' downtimes programmed for installation or start-up of new equipment, during all the phases of planning.

* Propose and realize the innovation on the assets of the Plant.

* Keep and expand the relationship with existing and potential suppliers, assessing services and offers, to identify technological developments, activities of revamping and new realizations to be implemented in the Plant.

Main Activities

* Identify the areas of improvement of the plants and of the production or packaging equipment, looking, also through activities of scouting and benchmarking and in collaboration with the TAM and the Maintenance Mangers, the best technical solutions in order to maximize the efficiency and reliability of the plant.

* Ensure consistency between the design phases and the industrialization phase for both new projects and continuous improvement.

* Propose equipment improvements for the existing assets and, in coordination with the central Engineering, also for the investment in new lines. In particular:

* Provide support in the definition of maintenance approaches

* Follow the acceptance test at the supplier

* Ensure the support during the installation, testing and start-up of the new equipment.

* Represent the plant in the projects of new equipment/lines.

* Support the TAM in the definition of the investment plan, suggesting interventions and autonomously follows the "minor" projects.

* Promote the collaboration between Plant and Central Engineering, supporting the central engineering in the design phase of new equipment (definition of lay-out, technical specifications, efficiency and productivity parameters and in the selection of suppliers) and participating in the project groups from the initial stages.

* Gather and updates all the technical documentation of the plant (lay-out, technical documents, safety plan, etc.).

* Manage, in coordination with the purchasing department, the orders for the new equipment/installations.

* Monitor the use of resources (materials, direct and indirect manpower) through a detailed governance of the investment costs (RCA).

* Ensure consistency between the design phase and the industrialization phase for both new and continuous improvement projects.

* Collaborate with the Plant Maintenance Manager in the definition of maintenance policies by supporting area managers in implementing them through the standardization of tools and methods.

* Ensure the continuous monitoring of the performance of the equipment, identifying the critical areas and putting in place intervention plans in order to maximize the performance (preventive on condition).

* Monitor and elaborates maintenance performance indicators to be shared, in an organized and structured manner, with the maintenance teams focusing the action and monitoring plans.

* Coordinate the implementation of the technical training plan for all maintenance people.

Requirements

* Master Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering

* Experience in similar roles min 3 years

* Fluency in english both spoken and written (preferred)

* Problem solving

* Planning and organization skills

Barilla G.& R. Fratelli sta cercando un Plant Engineer per lo Stabilimento di Novara (Italia).
La figura scelta riporta direttamente al Technical Area Manager dello stabilimento di Novara.

Responsabilità

* Gestire e implementare tutte le commesse di investimento di responsabilità dello stabilimento e collaborare al raggiungimento degli obiettivi per le commesse di responsabilità del Technical Development

* Definire, a supporto del Technical Area Manager, la previsione degli investimenti (Capex), valutando la sostenibilità a livello di approvazioni e cash out delle commesse proposte

* Gestire e aggiornare gli schemi tecnici e disegni dei nuovi impianti e l'aggiornamento degli impianti esistenti

* Definire le politiche di manutenzione preventiva e predittiva in collaborazione con le altre funzioni aziendali

* Definire le tipologie e quantità di ricambi da tenere in stock, per la prima fornitura, relative ai nuovi impianti

* Concordare, con il Production Manager, PPWM e Resp Manutenzione, il piano degli interventi programmati per installazione o avviamento di nuovi impianti, durante tutte le fasi di pianificazione delle esigenze di produzione

* Proporre e realizzare l'innovazione sul parco macchine di Stabilimento

* Mantenere e ricercare contatti con i fornitori, esistenti e potenziali, valutandone i servizi e le offerte, per individuare sviluppi tecnologici, attività di revamping impianti e nuove realizzazioni da implementare in stabilimento

Principali Attività

* Individuare le aree di miglioramento degli impianti e dei sistemi di produzione/confezione cercando, anche attraverso attività di scouting e benchmarking ed in collaborazione con il TAM ed i responsabili di manutenzione, le migliori soluzioni tecniche al fine di massimizzare l'efficienza e l'affidabilità degli impianti

* Garantire la coerenza tra le fasi di progettazione e la fase di industrializzazione sia per i nuovi progetti che per i progetti di miglioramento continuo

* Proporre obiettivi di miglioramento degli impianti esistenti e si coordina con l'Engineering Centrale per le modifiche più significative o investimento in nuove linee. In particolare: offre supporto nella definizione degli aspetti manutentivi, segue i precollaudi presso il fornitori, assicura il supporto necessario durante le fasi di installazione, collaudo e avviamento dei nuovi impianti

* Supportare il TAM nella definizione del piano di investimenti, suggerendo interventi e seguendo in autonomia i progetti "minori".

* Promuovere la collaborazione tra Stabilimento e Ingegneria Centrale supportando l'Ingegneria Centrale nelle fasi di progettazione di nuovi impianti nello Stabilimento (definizione del lay-out, delle specifiche tecniche, parametri di efficienza e di produttività e nella selezione dei fornitori) e partecipando ai gruppi di progetto sin dalle fasi iniziali.

* Rappresentare il presidio di tutta la documentazione tecnica dello Stabilimento (lay-out, documenti di certificazione delle macchine e degli impianti, piano di sicurezza, ecc.).

* Gestisce, coordinandosi con l'Ufficio Acquisti, gli ordini per i nuovi impianti/installazioni

* Monitorare l'impiego delle risorse a consuntivo (materiali, risorse dirette e indirette) elaborando informazioni gestionali sui costi di investimento (RCA)

* Garantire la coerenza tra le fasi di progettazione e la fase di industrializzazione sia per i nuovi progetti che per i progetti di miglioramento continuo.

* Collaborare con il Responsabile di Manutenzione di Stabilimento nella definizione delle politiche manutentive di plant supportando i responsabili d'area nell'attuazione delle stesse attraverso la proceduralizzazione e standardizzazione di strumenti e metodi.

* Garantire il continuo monitoraggio dell'andamento degli impianti, individuando le aree critiche e mettendo in atto piani di intervento al fine di massimizzare la prestazione degli impianti (preventiva a condizione)

* Monitorare ed elabora gli indicatori di performance manutentivi che condivide, in modo organizzato e strutturato, con i team di manutenzione focalizzandone i piani di azione e monitoraggio.

Requisiti

* Laurea in Ingegneria e

* Esperienza in ruolo similare di minimo 3 anni

* Inglese fluente sia scritto che parlato (requisito preferenziale)

* Buona capacità di problem solving
