Job Description:

Amazon Mexico OHL team is looking for a data driven, customer-obsessed, hands on and creative candidate to join our team. As a Vendor Specialist, you'll work with selected vendors to help drive growth and help deliver a best-in-class customer experience on amazon.com.mx, while facilitating great business relationships with some of Amazon's highest visibility brands.

Work hard. Have fun. Make history. At Amazon it is expected no more and no less from you. Ever since Amazon opened its doors, it has been an aim to become the most customer-centric company in the world. The AVS Retail Vendor Specialist is a vital member of Amazon's Vendor Services team, focused on building and maintaining successful partnerships with vendors while driving mutual growth. Operating across five key pillars (Business Advice, Availability & Operational Excellence, Conversion, Traffic, and Catalog), this role serves as an essential link between Amazon and its vendors, ensuring efficient execution of core services and operational excellence. The position requires a strong foundation in e-commerce fundamentals and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations for vendors. You'll help Amazon create the Earth's greatest shopping experience - a store featuring more products and brands with the most compelling content compared to any other online or offline store.

Key job responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of strategic vendors, serving as their primary point of contact and executing growth initiatives across the five AVS pillars
* Work with functional experts to develop and implement Joint Business Plans that align with vendor business objectives
* Monitor and analyze vendor performance metrics, providing regular insights and recommendations
* Continuous negotiation of commercial agreements to drive performance improvements
* Drive vendor adoption of Amazon tools and best practices to improve operational efficiency
* Ensure optimal inventory management and supply chain efficiency for assigned vendors
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and maintain service levels
* Deliver weekly reporting with detailed commentary and specific action plans
* Execute basic marketing strategies to increase product visibility using Amazon's marketing tools
