## Forvia, a sustainable mobility technology leader We pioneer technology for mobility experience that matter to people. ## Your mission, roles and responsibilities o Design, plan, carry out, and supervise the cutting operations of the materials used in cutting processes. o Optimize the use of cutting materials (cutting savings) and supply the required number of pieces on time according to quality standards. ## Responsabilities o Prepare cutting files according to customer requirements. o Seek the maximum utilization of cutting materials (YIELD). o Apply continuous improvement based on productivity and OEE reports. o Provide the necessary information and visual aids for production. o Create and update the sheets of necessary parameters for cutting. o Control cutting files during engineering changes. o Design files that optimize production and material consumption. o Creation and management of spare parts (Covers). o Promote process improvement through the generation of improvement ideas. o Seek best practices with other Covers plants and make them transversal. ## Profile Education: Electronic, Industrial, Textile Engineering, and related careers Intermediate-Advanced English Experience in: (2 YEARS) or internal Development. o Layout and automatic cutting processes of materials on CNC machines. o In automotive industry companies (Preferably). ## Competences Required technical skills: o Interpretation of blueprints. o Operation of automatic cutting equipment (CNC). o Digitization of tracing and cutting. o Cutting software such as LECTRA (Formaris/Diamino), Gerber (Accumark and Accunest), and Optitex. o Knowledge of ISO14001/2015 Standard. o Knowledge in VDA. o Quality System (IATF 16949). o Handling of AutoCAD. o Operation of different models of Lectra cutting machines (MH8, MX9, IX9, and IP6). o Setup of Lectra machine parameters for pattern quality and optimal use of the cutting equipment.
