Hybrid model: 3 days in office 2 days remote

What you'll do

* Shape the platform: Design, build, and deliver end-to-end applications across data, middleware, APIs, and UI, integrating modern services with legacy systems to end applications across data, middleware, APIs, and UI, integrating modern services with legacy systems.

* Engineer at scale: Collaborate with global pods of engineers, architects, BAs, and scientists to deliver reliable, high-quality software in a fast-moving R&D environment.

* Elevate the craft: Champion agile DevOps practices, testing discipline, CI/CD, and clear standards, and help evolve our engineering culture.

* Modernize the stack: Transform a siloed estate into a seamless ecosystem with great user experiences, using cloud (AWS), containers, and modern web frameworks.

What you'll bring

* Full stack fluency: Strong Python (and willingness to learn new languages), plus a major web framework and frontend experience (JavaScript with React/Angular,). end experience (JavaScript with React/Vue/Angular, CSS with Bootstrap/MUI/Tailwind).

* Data and cloud skills: Experience with data storage across both relational and object-based models.

* Strong knowledge of software design and data structures.

* Cloud exposure (compute, storage), and solid design/data structures knowledge.

* Build quality in: Unit testing best practices, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Travis CI), and data analysis (profiling, interpreting, documenting).

* Ways of working: Clear communication, strong teamwork, critical thinking, and a product mindset-pick the right tool, solve problems, raise the bar.

Nice to have

* Scientific domain exposure: Background or interest in chemistry, biology, or cheminformatics.

* Tools & process: Jira, Confluence, Git, Jenkins; agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).

* Growth mindset: Active knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
