Main Responsibilites:
* This position will be working at the Enterprise Technology Engineering Center (ETEC), assigned to a software design team that supports Blue River Technology.
* Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions to support system quality, integration, and release readiness.
* Support the embedded SW release process (including: automation, artifact signing, and cloud distribution).
* Standardize/unify automated testing approaches across platforms to support integration and validation.
* Develop and execute requirements-based automated acceptance tests with verification traceability (Jama).
* Maintain automated test coverage to validate embedded software and BSP stability on each release.
* Support CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and repeatable releases (Jenkins, Buildkite).
* Generate automated release documentation as part of the build and release workflow (Markdown, Confluence).
* Contribute to standardized hardware validation initiatives.
* Follow Agile methodology with a Scrum framework for software development.
What Skills You Need:
* SW development experience with languages such as C/C++ or Python, applied to embedded software environments.
* Knowledge working with Linux-based build systems.
* Knowledge of embedded systems and hardware interfaces, including common peripherals and communication protocols (e.g. MQTT, CAN).
* Interest/experience working on embedded systems requirements and requirement-base verification and integration.
* Experience supporting CI/CD and release workflows (Jenkins, Buildkite).
* Knowledge of version control (Git/GitHub).
* Ability to debug software across applications, OS, and hardware interaction layers using standard debugging tools.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills (English).
* Proactive mindset.
What Makes You Stand Out:
* Exposure to embedded Linux development beyond application code, with focus or initial experience in system-level and BSP-related components.
* Ability to contribute to automated test development and maintenance, following existing frameworks and best practices.
* Understanding of embedded system behavior, enabling effective testing at the application and integration levels.
* Willingness to learn and support the evolution of test frameworks to improve consistency and reuse.
* Experience assisting with CI/CD-driven testing and validation workflows as part of a team.
* Motivation to reduce manual testing or documentation effort through simple automation and structured documentation (e.g., Markdown, Confluence).
Education:
* Digital Systems, and Robotics Engineering, B.S. Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
