We are establishing a Greenfield manufacturing facility at Tlaxcala in Mexico. This will be the flagship facility in line with Industry 4.0 with state-of-the-art advanced automation and digitization. To deliver this, we are hiring a highly competent and motivated Scientist, Product GDI for Dry Parts Optimization initiative.

Job Purpose Summary
As Scientist, Product Development, you will bring concepts to life through hand on formulation, testing, optimization, and commercialization of the strategic Dry Parts Optimization initiative.
You will work on local projects that integrate responsibilities of the GDI Product Development, CPS Master Data and Commercialization to ensure technically robust solutions and effective execution to ensure products meet quality, regulatory, and manufacturing requirements.
This is an execution focused role for a technically curious problem solver who wants to build deep expertise while contributing to the standardization, simplification, and optimization of formula design and development, aligned with current and future CPS capabilities
What You'll Do
Create & Optimize Formulations: Develop lab-scale prototypes and formulations driven by dry parts simplification opportunities, and technical/supply chain requirements, following GMP and Company protocols. Optimize formulas by leveraging authorized alternates, pre-blend harmonization, and standardization principles.
Test, Learn, Improve: Conduct compatibility, sensory, analytical, and shelf-life testing in collaboration with Microbiology and Stability teams. Generate data-driven insights to enable fast, informed go/no-go decisions.
Scale Up for Market: Create, update, and deploy Manufacturing Instructions (MMIs) aligned with bottler and manufacturing realities.
Execute Projects End-to-end: Own execution of GDI product development and dry parts optimization project, managing timelines and technical deliverables under manager supervision. Analyze data to identify, prioritize, and validate productivity opportunities with measurable impact. Maintain accurate formulas, ingredients, and specifications in Picasso and related Master Data systems.
Collaborate Broadly: Partner closely with TI&SC3 network including GDI, CPS and TOMs to enable seamless execution. Connect with Global R&D and Technical Communities to import best practices and align standards.
Maintain Excellence: Ensure lab safety, equipment readiness, compliance, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Capture and institutionalize technical learnings to support future innovation and continuous improvement.
What You'll Need
* Bachelor's or master's degree in food science, Chemistry, Nutrition, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
* 1-3 years of experience in product development, Master Data or Technical Project roles within the food and/or beverage industry.
* Foundational knowledge of beverage formulation, ingredient functionality, and processing basics. Comfort working with digital tools, technical systems, and Master Data.
* Experience supporting commercialization, reformulation, or productivity projects.
* Full English proficiency: Portuguese is a plus.
