About the role

This position operates within defined processes under moderate supervision and plays a key role in ensuring service delivery excellence within GBS Finance.
The PCO & ML will support manufacturing costing activities by reviewing process orders, analyzing variances, and ensuring accurate cost flows in SAP. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, timely issue resolution, and accurate financial outcomes for manufacturing sites.

Key responsibilities

* Perform process order reviews, including validation of confirmations, variances, rework, scrap, and error resolution
* Manage Daily Cockpit activities and Monthly DUV (Daily Usage Variance) reviews to ensure timely issue resolution
* Respond to plant finance queries and provide insights on cost variances
* Follow up on open production orders (WIP and release status) to ensure timely technical closure
* Partner with Quality teams to close inspections required for order completion
* Monitor and analyze price variances between BOM/recipe standards and actual production results
* Ensure accurate costing for new product introductions, including recipe validation and cost estimate accuracy
* Support Material Master data validation related to costing (costing views, BOM, routing)
* Execute month-end closing activities, including settlement and variance analysis
* Validate and troubleshoot cost flows in SAP based on manufacturing processes
* Apply Operational Excellence (OE) practices, including JDI, SIA, and KPI tracking
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Recipe Controllers, and Finance Operations

Qualifications and skills

* SAP (Process Orders, Material Master - costing views, costing transactions)
* Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Understanding of manufacturing processes and cost structures
* Basic understanding of project and change management
* Familiarity with Operational Excellence (OE) concepts and KPIs
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field
* 1+ years of experience in cost accounting, manufacturing finance, or shared services environment
* English fluency required
