Job Description:
The Standard, Mexico City arrives in the historic Tabacalera neighborhood with character, color and a signature wink. The hotel will feature 206 rooms and suites, 27 branded residences and a leafy "secret" garden sure to become the city's favorite hideaway. Our debut in Latin America raises the aesthetic stakes, drawing from sun-washed CDMX architecture and a sensual, organic palette.
A bright café and late-night diner keep the ground floor lively from early mornings to the final nightcap. Above it all, a rooftop pool, signature restaurant and outdoor bar take in striking views of the Monumento a la Revolución. Each room and residence includes a private balcony, offering a front-row seat to the city.
We're looking for a Corporate & Leisure Sales Manager who knows that every great stay starts long before check-in. Someone who builds relationships with intention, uncovers opportunities others overlook, and connects the right guests with a hotel that's anything but expected.
The Vibe
This isn't just about selling rooms.
It's about building partnerships with the people who influence where the world's most curious travelers choose to stay.
As our Corporate & Leisure Sales Manager, you'll grow relationships across corporate accounts, travel advisors, consortia, agencies, and leisure partners who appreciate thoughtful hospitality and experiences with personality. You'll know your clients, understand what matters to them, and make The Standard their first choice whenever business-or curiosity-brings them to Mexico City.
Because the best partnerships don't feel transactional. They feel personal.
What You'll Do
* Build and grow relationships with corporate accounts, travel advisors, consortia, agencies, and leisure partners.
* Identify new business opportunities that drive transient room revenue and strengthen The Standard's presence in the market.
* Develop tailored sales strategies for each account, creating partnerships that last beyond a single booking.
* Represent The Standard at sales missions, networking events, trade shows, and industry gatherings.
* Collaborate with Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations to deliver seamless guest experiences from booking to departure.
* Keep your pipeline active, your accounts engaged, and your finger on the pulse of travel trends.
* Stay curious about the city, the industry, and the people shaping where travelers want to be next
Candidate Requirements:
What You Bring
* Experience in corporate or leisure hotel sales, luxury or lifestyle hospitality preferred.
* Strong relationships within the corporate travel, travel advisor, agency, or consortia segments are a plus.
* A natural ability to build trust and create long-term partnerships.
* Commercial awareness with a creative, guest-first mindset.
* Confidence negotiating agreements and uncovering new opportunities.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Fluency in English and Spanish.
* Curiosity, initiative, and a genuine passion for hospitality, travel, and culture.
If you believe every partnership has the potential to become someone's next favorite stay, you'll fit right in.
