Solutions Engineer

Job Description:

As an Account Solutions Engineer, you will focus on understanding customers' business drivers, goals and challenges and translate them into a differentiating value-added technical architectural roadmap based upon Cisco's leading-edge solutions. You will bridge the gap between customer needs and Cisco's technology solutions by designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions that drive customer success and business outcomes.

Your Impact
* Act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them achieve their goals by sharing technical knowledge and guiding them throughout the solution lifecycle
* Own the solution design and translate customer requirements into technical solutions, often across multiple technology domains.
* Participate in presales activities including scoping Statements of Work (SOW), reviewing and creating proposals, and positioning Cisco's value in outcome-based solutions.
* Conceptualize customer requirements, plan implementation strategies, design high-level architectures, and advise cross-functional teams.
* Understand customer markets and industries to identify growth opportunities, risks, and mitigation plans.
* Advocate for current and emerging technology solutions relevant to customer success.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders and Cisco Customer Experience teams.
* Support technology design.
* Support pre-sales activities by translating business requirements into technical designs.
* Drive customer technology transitions and influence solution architectures.
* Comply with company policies and utilize relevant tools to support professional services strategies.

Minimum qualifications
* Minimum BA degree in an engineering field or equivalent.
* Technical background in multiple technology domains with the ability to translate complex solutions into differentiating and outcome-based added-value to customers.
* Proficiency in written and spoken English and Dutch.

* Ability to manage complex projects and customer relationships.
