Job Description:
About the job
IWS Coach - Supply Point Zoetermeer (Full Time)
Help shape a culture where people grow, data speaks, and Integrated Work System drives everything we do every day.
Are you someone who is curious about the Integrated Work System (IWS) - or eager to truly master it? Do you understand that IWS is more than a methodology or a set of tools; it's a mindset, a way of thinking, and a system of acting every day in our factory?
Do you get energy from coaching people on the shop floor, helping teams grow, and building a strong, sustainable IWS culture? Are you someone who doesn't just analyse data, but reads the story behind it? Seeing patterns, connections, insights, and even predicting what comes next? Someone who knows that data is not "just Excel," but a window into our past, present, and future? This IWS Coach role might be exactly for you.
About the role:
As an IWS Coach, you will play a crucial role in further developing and embedding the Integrated Work System (IWS) within our Supply Point Zoetermeer. You will work closely with Line Leads, Process Leads, Maintenance Leads, Shift Leads, Operators, and the safety and quality performance organizations to move the factory forward every day.
You will be highly visible on the shop floor - asking the right questions, guiding and coaching teams, and ensuring that improvements take root and deliver sustainable results.
Standards & Systems:
* Develop, manage, and implement standards for RTT (Run To Target) and IWS methods and tools.
* Collaborate closely with system owners and the departments you support.
* Conduct RTT and Phase Zero assessments and identify improvement opportunities and translate them into concrete improvement plans per department.
* Align priorities and progress with IWS Lead to ensure full connection with the IWS Roadmap.
* Actively participate as the Owner of DMS (Daily Management System) or a tool within one of the IWS Pillars.
Coaching & Capability Building:
* Train and coach employees, leaders, IWS coaches, and cross-functional teams in RTT/IWS methodologies.
* Facilitate DDS (Daily Direction Setting) meetings, promote active participation, and ensure teams understand and apply IWS rhythms and standards.
* Build IWS capabilities at all levels - shop floor, middle management, and the Plant Leadership Team (PLT).
* Serve as a visible IWS ambassador: motivate employees, identify improvement opportunities, and turn them into concrete actions.
* Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and support them in properly applying foundational systems across various pillars.
* Safeguard implementation quality, observe behavior effectiveness, and provide targeted improvement recommendations.
Continuous Improvement & Loss Elimination:
* Execute Loss Elimination activities (IPS, UPS, WPI) and ensure teams understand and can apply the underlying methodology.
* Serve as a system or process owner (e.g., DH, CIL, CL): defining strategies, setting standards, maintaining them, and continuously improving based on data, behaviors, and performance results.
Analysis & Performance Monitoring:
* Monitor progress and performance using qualitative and quantitative IWS indicators.
* Support leaders in timely detection and correction of deviations.
* Assess RTT maturity on the shop floor and identify improvement potential.
* Perform health checks, propose PR improvements, and translate insights into clear and actionable reports.
* Professional knowledge of IWS or Lean, or Six Sigma, or Kaizen with proven results.
* Ability to work with large datasets in MS Office or similar tools.
* A completed degree, preferably in Business Administration, complemented by
* Relevant work experience in Food Technology, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a similar field.
* Experience in food or pharmaceutical production environments.
* An analytical, structured, flexible, and pragmatic approach.
* Experience in continuous improvement processes.
* Affinity with digital systems and AI.
* Strong coaching skills, the ability to connect with people, and excellent stakeholder communication abilities.
* Excellent command of Dutch (must-have) and strong working knowledge of English." descriptionHeader="
