Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Electrical Technical Instructor to join our team at the Dangote Cement Plc. The Ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality technical education and vocational training to our students/trainees, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge in electrical technology in line with the approved national occupational standard by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). This in-person position requires a hands-on approach to teaching and a commitment to student success.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

* Assist in the development and delivery of curriculum for electrical technology courses, ensuring alignment with approved curriculum/ standards

* Provide hands-on instruction in labs and classrooms, fostering a practical learning environment

* Support students in understanding complex electrical concepts, troubleshooting techniques, and safety protocols

* Evaluate student progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes

* Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure continuous research work and adopt the use of cohesive educational experience across all training programs

* Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to program development initiatives

* Management of training tools and laboratory equipment and updating of the Dangote Academy workshop inventory list for both tools and consumables.

* Implementation of other related tasks as may be assigned by the Centre manager or other superior persons.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree / HND or it's equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from reputable Institution.

* Minimum of Three (3) years of field experience in Electrical system handling, plus any additional experience in mentoring, teaching or tutoring.

* Strong understanding of electrical principles, systems, and safety standards and use of equipment

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
