About the Role:
As a Junior IT Operations Engineer at OLX Group, you will join our frontline IT support team, playing a crucial role in ensuring smooth IT operations and providing exceptional technical support to company employees. You will be involved in both local and global IT projects, enhancing IT services, and streamlining operations across the organization.
Contract: 1-year full-time employment.
Location: Warsaw, Poland (hybrid).
What will you be doing?
* Provide frontline support for technical issues, autonomously addressing and resolving employee inquiries and system problems.
* Diagnose and resolve issues related to Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, Atlassian, Okta, network infrastructure, and client operating systems including Windows and macOS.
* Oversee the deployment and management of client software using tools like Jamf and Intune.
* Ensuring hardware inventory is maintained in order and meets company standards.
* Contribute to global IT projects aimed at enhancing IT infrastructure and services.
* Create, maintain, and update documentation for IT processes, troubleshooting procedures, and system configurations.
* Analyze recurring IT issues, collaborating with other IT teams to identify root causes and develop sustainable solutions.
* Support office IT infrastructure, including network maintenance, printer and video conferencing systems setup.
* Manage the onboarding and offboarding of employees in IT systems.
* Assist with provisioning of hardware and software licenses.
Who We Are Looking For?
We are looking for a junior profile at the beginning of their IT career. Ideally someone who is currently finishing their studies or has recently graduated in an engineering-related field. We are especially looking for someone proactive, eager to learn, and motivated to grow within an IT support environment.
* Basic understanding of computer network fundamentals.
* Some exposure (academic, personal projects, or internships) to IT support, operating systems (macOS or Windows), or IT tools is a plus, but not required.
* Familiarity with concepts such as MDM solutions (e.g. Jamf, Intune), ITSM tools (e.g. Jira, ServiceNow), or ITIL processes is considered a plus.
* A proactive, customer-oriented mindset with a strong willingness to learn and grow in an IT support environment.
* Ability to stay calm under pressure and approach problems with a solution-oriented mindset.
* A team player who enjoys collaborating with others and contributing to a positive team environment.
* Good communication skills, with a comfortable level of written and spoken English and Polish.
