What you'll be doing:As a Cyber Security Cloud Engineer Lead, you will play a critical role in securing Avon's cloud environments that power our global operations across manufacturing, retail, and direct selling. You'll design and implement secure AWS architectures, helping to protect customer data, business systems, and digital platforms. Working closely with IT, DevOps, and business teams, you'll embed security into everything from e-commerce platforms to supply chain systems, while driving innovation, strengthening resilience, and ensuring compliance across a fast-evolving digital landscape.
Key responsibilities:
* Designing and securing AWS environments supporting ERP, e-commerce, CRM, inventory, and IoT systems.
* Implementing and managing AWS security tools such as IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and CloudTrail.
* Conducting vulnerability assessments and threat modelling for cloud-based applications and systems.
* Monitoring environments for anomalies, unauthorized access, and potential data breaches.
* Automating security controls using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
* Integrating security into CI/CD pipelines across digital and sales platforms.
* Ensuring compliance with standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, IT, and operational technology, to strengthen security across systems and endpoints.
* Supporting secure mobile, API, and edge-device environments used across distributed sales networks.
What we're looking for:
* Strong experience in cloud security, with deep expertise in AWS environments.
* Proficiency in AWS security services and identity & access management.
* Experience securing digital platforms such as CRM, e-commerce, and mobile applications.
* Solid understanding of data privacy regulations and secure handling of sensitive data.
* Knowledge of threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.
* Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex environments.
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
* A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, security innovation, and resilience.
