Job Description:

The Fixed Income Market Analyst is responsible for providing timely and accurate end-of-day valuations on Sovereign and Corporate fixed income securities for London Stock Exchange Group Pricing Service.

Pricing Service evaluations are used by banks, asset managers, index managers, wealth managers, and auditors for client statements, research, risk analysis, performance metrics, and portfolio valuation. The Pricing Service provides global evaluated prices on over 3.1MM securities and derivatives daily.

This role will offer a wide variety of challenges as part of the valuation process. The successful candidate will incorporate primary and secondary market pricing, news and volatility into their assessment of what is fair value pricing for the securities under their remit.
The individual is expected to work independently to deliver high quality, accurate pricing. In addition, a lot of teamwork & partnership is expected withing the region, to ensure the Pricing Service delivers to all its customers high quality pricing data within strict timeframe windows.

About LSEG Pricing Service

LSEG Pricing Service provides real time and validated end of day evaluated prices on over 3.1MM securities. Our staff consists of over 145 fixed income professionals in New York, London, Paris, Tokyo, Mumbai, Bangalore, Singapore, Lagunilla de Heredia, and Gdynia. Coverage includes sovereign debt, corporate & high yield debt, convertible securities, bank debt, mortgage-backed securities, asset-backed securities, municipal securities, derivatives, and structured notes.

Fixed Income Market Analyst Responsibilities

* Determine the fair market value for portfolios of securities, including Money Market instruments
* Determine the right pricing method for a portfolio of bonds based on its characteristics
* Aggregate and assess appropriate market color to be used in determining fair market value (trades, quotes, contributions).
* Follow and incorporate broader market news and volatility into the output
* Support process improvements
* Respond to all price challenges timely and with an explanation of pricing methodology
* Comply with our controls and procedures
* Utilize technical and financial knowledge to enhance coverage, accuracy, and timeliness
* Display independent thinking to improve & enhance existing work environment
* Document work procedures and methodology enhancements
* Cooperate with various Teams to maintain highest level of service


Requirements
* Good fixed income mathematical/analytical skills
* Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or Finance
* Knowledge of Financial Markets
* Good excel spreadsheet skills (incl VBA) with the ability to handle large amounts of data
* Good written and verbal skills with historical record of direct customer interactions
* Able to work independently, and as part of a team
* Working knowledge of coding eg Python is desired, not required
* Ability to convey to customers pricing methodology/pricing rationale

Career Stage:Associate

Compensation Information:
LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated annual gross base salary for this position is between zł84,600 - zł141,000. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Bonus Plan ("bonus plan"). Target Bonus % will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job-related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
