A Day in the Life
The Market Development Specialist will be responsible for developing collaboration with local government units and key local partners to create and implement health programs related to the prevention of chronic diseases, particularly diabetes. This position will support building regional capacity to implement Medtronic's health projects and develop implementation strategies for new health initiatives.
Workplace half of Poland, travel required.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
* Mapping local government units (LGUs) ready to implement Medtronic health programs, including initiatives encompassing broadly defined diabetes prevention.
* Analysing the needs and readiness of LGUs to implement local health projects, including assessing resources, infrastructure, and organizational capacity.
* Identifying potential local partners (hospitals, clinics, patient organizations, universities, public institutions) who can support the implementation of health programs.
* Building and developing collaboration networks in the regions, strengthening relationships with stakeholders, and creating conditions for implementing joint initiatives.
* Expanding the potential for implementing local projects through active coalition building, initiating meetings, and supporting local governments in developing project concepts.
* Supporting implementation processes by coordinating local activities, conducting presentations, and participating in consultations with public entities.
* Reporting on activity results, preparing analyses and strategic recommendations for the development of healthcare programs in Poland.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
* Experience in collaborating with local government units, public institutions, or the healthcare sector.
* Higher education - preferably in public health, health economics, management, public policy, health analytics, or a related field.
* Excellent analytical skills and the ability to map the organizational potential of local government units.
* Ability to build relationships and work with multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
* Knowledge of the Polish healthcare system and the principles of developing healthcare programs.
* Independent, proactive, and results oriented.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
A category B driving license and willingness to work in the field.
