Software Engineer - ServiceNow

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and configure ServiceNow catalog items, workflows, and related components

* Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions

* Implement client-side and server-side scripting for catalog items and workflows

* Configure and customize UI policies, UI actions, catalog client scripts and Flow Designer for automation

* Integrate ServiceNow catalog items with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs

* Ensure compliance with ServiceNow best practices, coding standards and security guidelines

* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to catalog items and workflows

* Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities

* Stay updated on ServiceNow platform upgrades and new features and continuously improve catalog offerings

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

* 2+ years of experience in ServiceNow development focused on Service Catalog

* Proficiency in JavaScript and Flow Designer

* Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST/SOAP)

* Understanding of ITSM processes and ServiceNow architecture

* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with Scoped Applications and Custom Widgets

* Exposure to Agile Development methodologies

* Experience with performance tuning and platform optimization
