What you'll be doing:As an Associate Sustainability Manager, you'll play a key role in Avon's Sustainability team, helping ensure our environmental, social and governance (ESG) commitments are translated into measurable impact. Working across multiple functions, you'll support sustainability reporting, compliance and governance activities that help protect and strengthen our business. You'll partner with colleagues across the organization, contribute to externally audited disclosures, and help drive transparency, accountability and continuous improvement in our sustainability performance. This is an exciting opportunity to influence meaningful change while working at the intersection of sustainability, business strategy and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities:
* Delivering ESG reporting requirements and supporting audit-ready disclosures
* Managing carbon accounting activities, including emissions tracking and footprint calculations
* Supporting climate-related reporting and transition planning initiatives
* Maintaining high standards of ESG data quality, governance and reporting accuracy
* Monitoring and implementing emerging sustainability regulations and compliance requirements
* Coordinating with cross-functional teams to gather data, drive alignment and meet reporting deadlines
* Managing sustainability projects and identifying opportunities for process improvement
* Supporting compliance across areas such as human rights due diligence, supply chain transparency, responsible sourcing and product sustainability regulations
What we're looking for
* Experience in sustainability, ESG, compliance, reporting or a related field
* Knowledge of ESG frameworks, carbon accounting and sustainability regulations (EU/UK preferred)
* Experience working with data, reporting systems and governance processes
* Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines
* Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
* Confident communicator with strong written and verbal English skills
* A proactive, collaborative approach and a passion for driving positive environmental and social impact
