CAPEX Project Engineer

Job Description:

Mission:
We are looking for a CAPEX Project Engineer to support the technical development and execution of capital investment projects. This role focuses on engineering design, technical evaluation, equipment implementation, and ensuring successful delivery of industrial projects.
What will be your responsibilities:
* Identify capital investment needs in collaboration with Engineering and Operations teams.
* Develop technical solutions for CAPEX projects.
* Perform technical feasibility studies and support economic evaluations of investment proposals.
* Prepare engineering layouts, technical drawings, and equipment specifications.
* Coordinate with suppliers throughout the design, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and start-up phases.
* Oversee the technical implementation of projects, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications.
* Support equipment testing, validation, and acceptance activities.
* Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
* Ensure projects comply with technical, quality, environmental, and safety standards.
* Prepare technical documentation and project progress reports.

Profile and requirements:
* Availability to work 100% on-site Ponte de Sor
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
* Proven experience in industrial project engineering and implementation.
* Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar.
* Knowledge of industrial equipment, manufacturing processes, and automation systems.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proactive, organized, and results-oriented mindset.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* Good command of English (preferred).
