Pool Bar Commis Chef (Seasonal)

Job Description:

Every refreshing bite poolside has the potential to become a highlight of our guests' summer vacation. To deliver that sunshine on a plate, we're looking for a Seasonal Cook / Commis Chef for our Pool Bar. We need someone with a passion for vibrant presentation, a dedication to fresh flavors, and a commitment to maintaining high standards even when the sun is out and the orders are flying.
A Little Taste of Your Day-to-Day
While the sun is shining, you'll mostly be:
* Creating Summer Favorites: Making every salad, burger, and snack a feast for the eyes and a treat for the tastebuds.
* Owning the Poolside Station: Taking full ownership of your workstation-managing supplies, monitoring equipment, and minimizing waste in a fast-paced outdoor setting.
* Maintaining Pristine Standards: Being "cleaner than clean" to meet or exceed local hygiene laws, ensuring the pool area remains a safe and appetizing environment.
* Diving into Teamwork: Helping with washing up, restocking poolside amenities, and supporting the bar team during peak "golden hours."
* Staying Agile: Taking on ad-hoc duties like a true team player to ensure our guests never have to leave their sun loungers for long.

What We Need From You
* Physical Stamina: The strength to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50lbs (23 kg) and the ability to stay active on your feet in a warm, outdoor environment.
* The Basics: A good grasp of reading, writing, and basic maths for order accuracy.
* Seasonal Flexibility: The flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts throughout the busy season.
* Compliance: You must meet local laws regarding food handling and alcohol service (minimum age requirements apply) and be fluent in the local language.
* Sunny Disposition: Great communication skills-you'll be visible to guests, so being warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to is a must.
