The opportunity

EY Cabo Verde is strengthening its Assurance team and is looking for New Graduates who are eager to start their professional journey in a dynamic, fast paced and learning oriented environment.
As a New Graduate in Assurance, you will be exposed to a variety of audit and assurance engagements for national and international clients. You will develop strong technical, analytical and professional skills, supported by structured training, coaching and continuous feedback. Your key responsibilities

* Participate in audit and assurance engagements in accordance with EY methodologies;
* Support the execution of audit procedures in areas such as financial reporting, internal controls and risk assessment;
* Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements under applicable accounting frameworks;
* Collect, analyze and document audit evidence and relevant project information;
* Identify potential risks and improvement opportunities and communicate them to the engagement team;
* Maintain effective communication with clients and team members, contributing to trusted professional relationships;
* Contribute to team effectiveness through collaboration, continuous learning and knowledge sharing.

To qualify for the role, you must have

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Economics or similar fields;
* Recently graduated or up to 1 year of professional experience (internships are valued);
* Academic knowledge of financial accounting and audit fundamentals;
* Strong interest in building a career in Audit and Assurance;
* Ability to work in multicultural and dynamic teams;
* Good level of English (Portuguese is required).
