ERP Data Engineer

Main Mission
The Junior SAP S/4HANA Technical Engineer participates in the integration, configuration, and deployment of the S/4HANA ERP solution within Thales' IT system.

Main Activities

Analysis and Design
* Analyze business needs and existing processes.
* Write functional and technical specifications.

Integration and Configuration
* Configure SAP S/4HANA modules.
* Participate in setting up interfaces with third-party systems.
* Configure data flows via SAP Integration Suite or SAP Process Integration.

Migration and Transformation
* Participate in migration projects from SAP ECC.
* Contribute to data transformation.

Development and Optimization
* Implement API/OData interfaces.
* Optimize performance on the SAP HANA platform.

Support and Continuous Improvement
* Provide Level 1 technical support.
* Participate in testing and validation phases.
* Propose process and architecture improvements.

Required Skills

Technical Skills
* Integration via API, OData, IDoc, RFC
* Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA preferred
* Knowledge of SAP Fiori and UI5 preferred
* Knowledge of ABAP / ABAP on HANA
* SAP HANA database
* Knowledge of Cloud / Hybrid architectures

Functional Skills
* Ability to communicate effectively with business teams.

Cross-functional skills
* Problem analysis
* Communication and teamwork

Desired profile
* Master's degree in Computer Science / Information Systems
* 1 to 3 years of experience on SAP projects
