Let's introduce ourselves
This is a new role in the maintenance team of our state-of-the-art Body in White Shop. As one of the engineers, you will be an integral part of a new organization pursuing our mission to provide the best manufacturing that accelerates the world to sustainable energy. You will work closely with our production, management, engineering, and project teams in the early and stabilization phases of the joining process development and equipment to identify manufacturing risks associated with our proposed designs and procedures, always aiming to improve and stabilize main KPIs, cycle time, yield, OEE, safety, and quality.
What you'll do
* Utilize strong engineering mindset and previous experience in the maintenance function in the manufacturing industry;
* Be responsible for the issuance and change of maintenance process documents in the workshop to ensure the validity, completeness, correctness, and unity of process documents to assure the reliability and maintainability of new equipment;
* Define and update the maintenance program (preventive and corrective);
* Inspect and supervise the implementation of process discipline and implement corresponding corrective measures;
* Organize and implement the optimization and improvement of the workshop's electrical and PLC systems to boost operational efficiency and reliability, reduce operating costs, and improve the stability of the systems;
* Regularly assess and improve electrical processes and PLC programming;
* Provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution for electrical and PLC issues, minimizing downtime and optimizing system performance;
* Act as the primary responsible person for electrical safety, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards, conducting safety audits, implementing safety protocols, and ensuring all electrical and PLC operations adhere to industry safety standards and best practices, with ongoing evaluations and updates;
* Provide technical support for the electrical equipment in the workshop, responsible for the development of the equipment maintenance plan and the formulation and maintenance of the spare parts list and Bill of Material;
* Participate in the equipment selection, design, installation, and commissioning of new models;
* Lead the automation improvement of the workshop, design the solution together with the production and supplier, and implement it at the optimal cost;
* Share knowledge, train maintenance engineers and technicians to improve the overall skills of maintenance personnel.
What you'll bring
* Previous working experience in maintenance function associated with low & high voltage workshop electrical systems and PLCs, in a highly automated industrial environment (preferably automotive sector OEM/Tier 1), is mandatory;
* Preferred university education in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience;
* Valid certificate at least at the level of an independent electrician according to §22, abilities to diagnose and deal with electrical issues;
* At least basic knowledge of PLC programming, and knowledge of related software e.g., Siemens TIA/WinCC/Inverter Programmer etc.
* Preferably familiar with robot peripherals, and ability to deal with robot-related issues;
* Track record of successful spare parts management and problem recurrence prevention as well as project management of repairs, refurbishment, and engineering change implementation projects;
* Flexibility, being able not only to work under an organization in a transformation period, or green-field project but thrive in such a fast-paced environment;
* Not only an individual contributor attitude but also a demonstrated ability to work within a multinational team, influence, and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
* Conversational in Slovak, written and spoken, and preferably proficient in English language;
* Self-starter and troubleshooting attitude, high level of communication skills, curiosity to learn new technologies;
* Analytic and engineering data reporting skills.
Compensation Data
Base Monthly Salary (Gross) for this position starts from 2.000 EUR.
* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
